21st century tech-voc education and training

THE best educational systems in the world are in the Scandinavian countries (primarily Finland), Northern Europe, Japan and South Korea, and the US. When it comes to technical-vocational education and training (TVET), nobody beats the Germans.

The United Nations, through a joint paper by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) and the International Labor Organization (ILO), endorsed a set of recommendations on “Technical and Vocational Education and Training for the Twenty-First Century.”
